Right now we are looking for an experienced leader who is interested in Product Development in general and Proactive Quality work more specific. As a person you enjoy working in teams and have the ability to inspire and challenge your colleagues. Since the job consists of many contacts, your networking skills are highly valued.
Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the complete delivery of Product development projects. The team Quality, Operational Development & Project belongs to PMO and is responsible for the proactive quality work in projects, development of the operation within DVP (Develop Product and Aftermarket Product Portfolio) and support the product development projects within specific areas.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain, further develop, train employees with tools and processes for proactive quality work
• Product: Design Review, FMEA, Set-based engineering
• Project: Risk Management, and Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) in Product Development
• Organize and facilitate proactive quality work in projects
• Supporting the Engineering Project Managers in setting up project specific Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) matching the project's scope and its quality targets
• Facilitating/moderating quality tools sessions when requested by the session owner (PME/CPM or design responsible)
• Act as Project Manager for Quality (PMQ) in selected projects
• Drive and follow up QAP
• Planning and execution of quality tools in project
• Support project planning activities
• Work as project manager for process and operational development projects within the DVP process
• Be involved in selected networks and collaboration with the Volvo group. Introducing new or replacing existing quality tools whenever needed, through exchange of experience
• Collaborate with Quality Improvement Leader and give support in determining actions for Quality Journal root causes

Competence Profile, Qualifications & Skills:
• Knowledge and experience from FMEA and other quality tools
• Knowledge of Set-based Concurrent Engineering
• Great communicative skills
• Great relationship- and interpersonal skills
• Proactive mindset
• Experience of managing projects in the area of process and/or operational development
• M.Sc. or equivalent education
• Technical understanding of engines, drives and/or electronics is an advantage
