Do you want to work in an international company with great potential, do you want to be part of a winning team? We are currently seeking a pricing analyst to Belmont Trading in Karlskoga!
The person that we are looking for is a TEAM player and are used to work in a fast moving environment with high demands for accuracy.
You as a person are energetic, have a strong self-motivation and very direct and clear communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This is both a strategic and tactical role that will report to the industry vertical lead and focus on creating and building a world class pricing infrastructure that supports enterprise-wide pricing activities and strategies.
This will include but not be limited to:
Competitive pricing analysis and development of price/value parity models
Transactional price analysis to develop price controls and policies and to identify actionable opportunities
Price Book maintenance
Creation/Preparation of weekly and monthly pricing reports, dashboards and metrics
Deal Exception Approval matrix maintenance and periodic review
This is a key role within the organization to ensure the multi-year journey to a world class pricing infrastructure
This individual will develop relationships with key stakeholders within the organization and will build trust by proactively providing credible and value added support.
They will deliver detailed pricing analysis and support to drive change in best practices.
Understand and adhere to all corporate policies
Collect and maintain market pricing information and manage the maintenance/update of price/value parity analysis
Analyze current and historical results of pricing activity and transactional data to identify actionable opportunities, develop ideas, and make recommendations to improve pricing performance and controls
Analyze impact of newly proposed pricing changes on the bottom line of the company
Ensure that price books are updated/maintained and leverages data analytics to substantiate market pricing as required.Makes sure that price books are utilized in quoting and contracting practices
Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports, dashboards and metrics and communicate results to Senior Management
Based upon experience and feedback from users, develop/implement reporting that would be considered value add to the business.
Perform competitive research for the collection and analysis of information to help highlightcapabilities, vulnerabilities, and intentions of business competitors
Build strong relationships with stakeholders based on an understanding of their needs and the business
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements Needed:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Discipline, Economics, Finance or other business field
2-6 years' experience in field of financial analysis, pricing, evaluations, or building complex data models
High proficiency in excel as a requirement.
Highly Desired Skills:
Graduate degree MS/MBA desirable.
