The Pricing and Profitability Management function is responsible for international price planning, and strategic price and profitability management for services, solutions and customers. The department serves as the link between the product and the sales department, and the team has thorough and extensive product competence. Together with industry monitoring and sales information, we find the right prices for the products.
We are now looking for a Pricing Strategist to join our team in Sandviken. Location in Stockholm can be an option - with regular visits to Sandviken. Some global travel may also be included in this position, in cases where it's a business need.
Key performance areas
As Pricing Strategist, you act in a proactive way with strategies and solutions for the profitability and price vision. You are responsible for the overall pricing strategy and price planning for market and you develop methods for price and profitability management processes. Based on your genuine understanding of the products, you coordinate, support and manage product and market pricing and profitability management in close cooperation with key stakeholders within sales, product management and supply.
We are looking for someone with a degree in either engineering or finance, preferably within industrial economics. Understanding the market in order to apply the right prices requires at least five years' working experience from a strategic position within marketing, finance or sales, and experience from international marketing, pricing strategies, market strategies, business development or profitability management. Since we work in an international setting, good skills in English and Swedish are required.
