To succeed as a Pricing Leader, we believe that you have been working with Sales, Business Management, and Commercial Planning for a minimum of 10 years at IKEA. During half of that time you have gained experience from Pricing and achieved a good understanding from the retail industry and the home furnishing sector. Besides that, we do also believe that you know how to lead and influence co-workers and have achieved strong leadership capabilities. Furthermore, you have a proven record in planning, driving output and measuring business performance and a deep understanding of the pricing year cycle, processes and tools.
We do also believe that you have good knowledge about:
• The IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision
• Project-, change-, and stakeholder management
• Range dimensioning and sales planning processes and tools
• IKEA supply chain and impact of (in)accurate planning
• How consumer acts, feels and behaves in a retail environment
A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US YOUR RESPONSIBILITES
As a Pricing Leader, you will be responsible for the execution and development of the pricing year cycle. You will drive pricing learning solutions and ways of working within Ingka and its alignment to other core processes, such as sales and supply planning, range dimensioning and financial business planning for our complete commercial offer. In this position, you will also lead a team of three Pricing Specialists.
Furthermore, you will:
• Lead the competence development for pricing and competitor monitoring in all markets and secure there is relevant mentoring and support in place throughout the year cycle
• Manage the analysis of an in-depth pricing performance, delivering to the financial business plan and the goals set within
• Lead and/or contribute to the development of new tools (pricing, competitor monitoring), templates, learning solutions, ways of working in strong co-operation with IKEA Range and Supply and Core Business Franchise
• Contribute to the Ingka Pricing Strategy and propose actions to deliver in line with this strategy
• Provide and share expertise on pricing in a clear and inspiring way to enable constant improvement learning with and between markets
This role is based in Malmö and you will report to the Commercial Offer Manager, Erik Leupen.
