Your mission
In this position, you're actively involved in enabling manufacturing of press tools. You're an important part in our development projects where we ensure industrializing of new products. You also update the design of our current tools to enhance the production process. One of the key factors in this job is to create the right prerequisites for a high-quality and effective production. You do this by communicating with production staff and R&D departments and by evaluating how your planned changes will affect our production processes.
Important parts of your job are to:
• Design press tools
• Participate in product development project as a design resource
• Support production to ensure deliveries and collaborate to drive continuous improvements
• Develop internal design concepts and methods
• Communicate and support colleagues globally
• Use simulation and compensation to optimize designs
Your profile
Your background consists of either a degree in Engineering or by relevant working experience, along with good knowledge of CAD and product development. Previously working in a manufacturing industry is of course beneficial. We're a global business, and this means that you need to be fluent in English, while skills in Swedish are a plus.
You're curious, driven and look at things from different perspectives. This, in combination with a quality-conscious mind and persistence problem-solving, are your keys for success as a Press Tool Designer. You enjoy connecting with people, and you easily communicate and provide great service to our internal customers.
