Today, we have approximately 650 students between 3 and 19 years of age attending our school across all programmes. The school delivers the International Baccalaureate curriculums.
Our teachers come from more than 30 different countries all over the world, and the same goes for our students. English is the primary language at the school.
Our Preschool, Primary and Middle School programmes offer an alternative for international families who are residing in the Helsingborg region on a temporary basis, or for those moving overseas. Our Diploma Program is an excellent choice for all students, Swedish or International, looking to further their studies abroad or in Sweden once they graduate. The aim of our school is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world.

Publiceringsdatum2017-05-26ArbetsuppgifterAs the preschool class teacher, your role will be to plan, organize, and carry out lessons for the students, ages 3- 5 in the preschool program. You will have the overall responsibility for the pastoral care of the students and have close contact with the parents. You will work closely with the other teachers in our preschool following the philosophy of the IB education. You will be expected to interact with the students in a caring, gentle but firm manner. You will be expected to be professional and flexible, both towards your colleagues and the greater school community.
We are searching for three positions. Two will be temporary positions until July 31, 2018. The third position will start the 1st of August. This is a maternity leave cover and will run until December 31, 2017.
KvalifikationerThe successful candidate will have a teaching degree in early childhood education and have experience teaching and leading a preschool class, preferrably with IB experience. The candidate will be able to read, write and speak in English fluently.
We are looking for someone who works well in a team. He/she must be positive, open minded and flexible. When working with the students, he/she will be firm, but kind. He/She will take the time to get to know the students and speak with them, creating relationships with them. He/she will take initiative to make preschool a place where students enjoy attending.
