For our client, AstraZeneca in Mölndal, we are looking for Predictive Science Data Experts(Data Angels) with a Life Science background.
The role of the Predictive Science Data Expert is to help drug project teams engaged in Model-Based Drug Discovery and/or Model-Based Drug Development to find, access, retrieve, and integrate important project related data in compliance with the Clinical Information sharing guidelines and ethical and legal guidelines. This is primarily a hands-on delivery role but you will also be expected to contribute to application/system enhancement projects and initiatives that will improve access to data and to think strategically about information exploitation needs of drug projects. You will be accountable for delivering results and will consult and collaborate as appropriate to ensure fast and efficient access to the right information at the right time to address project needs.

Publiceringsdatum2011-12-29Dina arbetsuppgifterIn the role of a Data Angel you will work with drug project leaders, drug project team and relevant Clinical Information Management Director to define the data (studies, data sets, data fields, and/or critical values) required to address the specific scientific/translational/modeling question(s).
You will ensure that proper requests for data access are obtained and will be responsible for collaborating with relevant information advocates and functional data experts or owners to access and retrieve relevant data.
You should also have the skills to perform data integration and contribute to the analysis including creation of the Data Sharing and Analysis Plan as appropriate .
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You must have very strong technical and computational skills, significant experience in the discipline driving projects, a thorough understanding of the drug development process, and demonstrated record of delivery.
You have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of collaborative working.
You must have a solid knowledge in data access, retrieval, integration, management and exploitation .
Flexibility in adjusting to changing environment and project needs is important.
You must have a Bioscience background.
