Business Unit Liquid Food in Tetra Pak Pro-cessing Solutions is responsible for develop-ment and manufacturing of processing equip-ment for dairy, beverage and prepared food applications. We are approximately 460 employ-ees at our sites in Sweden, USA, China, Switzer-land, Italy, Singapore and India working closely with clusters to understand customer needs, and create and convey our solutions that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its customers.
We are now looking for a Pre-Project Manager to strengthen our Prepared Food team. In this position, you will support our clusters in design-ing and selling Prepared Food line solutions, according to our global category strategy. You will report to the Manager Operations Food. You will be based in Lund, Sweden and you should expect to travel approximately 25% yearly.
Main responsibilities
• Meet and discuss with customers to under-stand their expectations and help selling.
• Develop technical solutions for customers, based on our best practice lines for Pre-pared Food (block, flow, functional dia-grams, quotation texts, etc.).
• Make cost calculations for full production line solutions, and participate in setting sell-ing prices.
• Participate in project reviews to pick up learnings from sold projects.
Qualifications
In this role, it is truly important to be a good communicator that enjoys networking with stakeholders, internally and externally. To succeed, you need a strong personal drive with good problem solving and coordination skills. You have a structured way of working as well as a clear understanding of a customer's needs. You are a team player, but can work inde-pendently and take ownership of actions. In addition to this you need to have a flexibility to handle different tasks and challenges.
To be successful in this role we believe you have a technical background with a degree in Engineering. You have at least 5 years of working experience within the food processing industry and a strong technical understanding of production solutions. Pre-project work, frontline experiences with customers and commercial experience is highly meriting. You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
