The Department of Economics and Statistics seeks one Postdoctoral researcher in Economics to be affiliated with the Linnaeus University Centre for Discrimination and Integration Studies.

Economics.
At the department for Economics and Statistics teaching and research is performed at all levels. Many researchers in the department are connected to the Linnaeus University Centre of Discrimination and Integration Studies, which is a principal inter-disciplinary research environment at Linnaeus University combining researchers in the areas of economics, political science and social psychology. Extent and period
The position is for two years, 100%.
Starting date of the position: According to agreements.
Context of position
The work tasks consist mainly of research within Economics, where you are expected to do research within the focus areas of the Linnaeus University Centre of Discrimination and Integration Studies. You are also expected to take an active part in the department's work both internally and externally. The position consists of 80% research and 20 % of teaching and/or administrative duties. In addition, there are funds available for expenses.
Qualification requirements
Qualified for appointment is the one who holds a Swedish Doctor's Degree, or a foreign degree equivalent to a PhD, and has completed her/his degree no more than three years before the application deadline.
Applicants must not have previously been employed as a postdoctoral fellow for more than a year in the same or related subject area at Linnaeus University.Excellent knowledge of English is required.

• Ability to work in a team, collaboration skills.
• Documented experience of research within the centre's research areas.
