hela Sverige A post-doctoral research position is sought associated with the Swedish Research Council (VR) funded Vegacenter laboratory for micro-analysis. The position responsibilities will be divided between (1) method development at the Vegacenter, i.e., setting up new analytical protocols that will be used by future internal and external users of the Vegacenter as well as in the candidate's own research and (2) research into the link between accessory minerals and rock forming minerals in high grade rocks.
Qualifications
A PhD. in geochemistry or a closely related field is required. The PhD degree should have been received no more than three years before the deadline for applications. The candidate is expected to have experience in micro-analysis using modern analytical equipment. A solid background in metamorphic petrology and tectonics is an advantage. Varaktighet, arbetstid
The position will be funded for one year with a possibility to extend to three years dependent on future funding and will be available from January, 2017.
