Candidates are expected to contribute towards the research and teaching program of the Division. Qualified candidates should have earned their PhD recently in Traffic and Highway Engineering, with research focus on the areas of detailed modeling of driving behavior, transportation safety, and simulation. Strong publication record in international refereed journals, and active participation in international conferences is required. Demonstrated teaching ability for a wide range of courses in traffic engineering, transport planning, transport systems, and various transport mode operations is also important.
Application should include a detailed CV (including experience and list of publications), a statement on research interests, a one-page statement on teaching, and the names and addresses of at least three references. Candidates should also provide up to three published papers.
