Växjö University invites
applications for positions as
assistant professors, senior lecturers or lecturers in Business Administration with emphasis on Industrial Sales
Växjö University will appoint 3 new assistant professors, senior lecturers or lecturers with theoretical and practical experience of advanced technical sales of industrial products and services. The program is the result of a direct initiative of large companies like ABB, Electrolux, Gambro, Getinge, Kalmar Industries, Strålfors and Volvo Construction Equipment. These companies will also be contracted for internships that will be part of the education. The students will be recruited from all over Europe and are expected to fill posts as key account managers, product managers and project managers in the engineering industry.
Teaching will be in English and part of the program will be held at partner universities in Europe. The International Sales & Marketing program will be held in the industrial town of Ljungby, 70 km from the University town of Växjö, in the south of Sweden. Teachers will do part time in other marketing courses at the school of Management and Economics, Växjö University.
Publiceringsdatum2007-10-11KvalifikationerTo be appointed as assistant professor or senior lecturer the applicant must hold a relevant doctors degree, or what can be deemed equivalent, in Business Administration. To be appointed as lecturer the applicant must hold a relevant masters degree in Business Administration.
A research interest in the marketing aspects of the development, production and sourcing systems of complex industrial products and services and the sales thereof is expected.
To qualify for applied position you also have to document your pedagogic education and pedacogic skill within your field of study.
