Continuous Integration Engineer

As a Continuous Integration Engineer, you will design our deployment and release strategies. You will partner with software developers and Software Quality Engineers to create pipelines for multiple projects. In doing this, you define the build orchestration that helps developers and QA's be more productive, write better and provide immediate feedback for build statuses. Some of your main responsibilities will therefore be to conduct training sessions on build orchestration and build tool synergies to various engineering stakeholders.

For this role it is required that you have expertise in the following skills:

• Continuous Integration tools (such as Jenkins or TeamCity)
• Git
• Monitoring tools
• Build tools (such as maven, gradle or npm)
• Linux


In order to be able to communicate with developers on an efficient level, some knowledge in programming languages are required as well.

You will also have the opportunity to work with modern technologies and standards such as:

• Cloud computing
• Docker
• Github




The team

Together, as a team, you are expected to provide a single platform that supports the entire end-to-end software development and delivery process. Your joint objective is to automate deployments, accelerate time to market and reduce delivery costs while increasing quality, reliability and traceability.

In order to achieve your overall objective, you will together build pipelines, conduct A/B testing and use centralized configuration for all services and more..
