You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. Do you want to take the next step and design the technique that will be installed? We are currently looking for an additional designer, one specializing in climate systems/HVAC (Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning). At the department of Technical Plant Auxiliary-system (TPA) we are approximately 12 coworkers responsible for the unique auxiliary systems, like Climate System, Fire Detection systems, to HVDC plants worldwide.
As designer, your primary task will be to develop the climate system, supervise the detailed design and participate in the commissioning on site. As well as ensure that all documentation that is handed over to the customer is correct.
During commissioning, you will have the opportunity to get to know interesting places around the world as you will spend between one to three months on site. The department in Ludvika is HVDC's Global Execution Center, but you might also conduct some design work at our offices in India and the USA. Needless to say, you will join a highly international and multicultural business where your desire to grow, both professionally and personally, will be the foundation for your success.
The successful candidate holds:
• A Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Design or combined with a few years of work experience.
• A few years work experience within the field.
Moreover, you should be experienced in calculations, mechanical design, commissioning. Knowledge about heat transfer and air-conditioning is mandatory.
As you will travel frequently and collaborate with engineers from all over the world, you should enjoy getting to know other cultures, be fluent in written and spoken English. Naturally, you are attentive to details and interested in the exciting technology that HVDC offers.
