SenseAir AB is a development and production company within the gas analyzing business located in Delsbo (Hälsingland). The business idea is to use the unique SenseAir low-cost IR technology to solve problems of societal and global importance, and to be able to offer the customers reliable and flexible products at low prices.
Work Requirements
The work will follow standard industrial PhD criteria, which encompass about 50% research. The remaining 50% is dedicated to the mother company, which may decide to give the candidate more or less research time. A PhD program will have to be selected and followed in order to acquire the required credits. (60) The R&D work will be carried out primarily within VINNOVA and European Commission projects, thus requiring sound knowledge in English. Travel is required, both within and beyond Europe.
Competency
Completed MSC studies at an internationally renowned university.
Qualifications
The applicant needs to be production engineer with experience and interest in practical system developments. Computer Science knowledge is viewed as an extra bonus (multi-agent systems. Java, Jade, etc.) as some work at control system is envisaged. Some knowledge of assembly and production machines and their control systems is deemed as important. The main focus will be the development of new assembly systems for mini/micro applications.
Languages required are English and, obviously, Swedish.
Employment form: Time limited.
