We are a motivated, dedicated and growing group of 90+ people, currently undergoing exciting developments and we are looking to expand our capacities and capabilities in our tools and process development. Consequently, we are now looking for a R&D Scientist to join our team.
Your role:
As a R&D scientist, you will:
Be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining methods and processes to increase efficiency and quality of Pharmetheus consultancy services.
Provide technical support for the development of future and existing tools and processes.
Contribute to improvement of internal processes and tools in relation to company initiatives.
Your skills and qualifications:
You are expected to have a Master of Science degree in a relevant subject such as Pharmacy or Biomedical engineering. To be a good match for this position, you should also have experience with non-linear mixed effect modeling (NLMEM) using the software NONMEM and extensive experience with programing using the language R. Furthermore, it's a merit if you have worked with LaTeX, Git, Python programming, software testing and documentation. Experience with drug development and working in a highly regulated industry is also valued.
We expect that you are communicative and have a fluent oral and written English with a scientific focus. You are flexible, committed to your work, and have a strong sense of responsibility. Further, it is important that you pick up new knowledge quickly and are used to working against a deadline. Moreover, you should be comfortable working in close connection with your colleagues as well as independently.
The position is a full-time employment, starting with six months' probation period and based in Uppsala
