For one of our customers we are now looking for a Pharmacovigilance Scientist (former Patient Safety Specialist). You need to be fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.

Responsibilities
As a Pharmacovigilance Scientist you will work in global teams to support pharmacovigilance processes and standards. You will proactively and optimally apply knowledge, strategies and operation to make the most meaningful difference to patient health through the development, registration and safety surveillance of medicines across their life cycle.
More specifically Patient Safety makes the most meaningful difference to patient health by minimizing and managing risk with excellent surveillance, epidemiology, and safety science. The core purpose of Patient Safety is to protect patients against undue risk.
• Writing and reviewing different types of periodic reports, within strict timelines
• Support patient safety teams in analyzing data
• Supporting and also acting as a methodological expert from a patient safety perspective, thus giving input to different clinical studies and/or projects
• Support pharmacovigilance and risk management planning
Minimum requirements
• MSc or equivalent in Biomedicine, Molecular Biology, Pharmacist
• Knowledge in Pharmacovigilance
• Broad competence with medical, therapeutic and technical terminology
• Understanding of regulatory obligations
• Proven communication skills and knowledge of cultural diversity
• Able to maintain high ethical standards
• Able to work independently
• Able to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team
• Good attention to detail and good time management
• Fluent in written and oral English
• Good computer skills
Preferred Experience/Requirements
• Course in or experience of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

You should be able to work independently, take own initiatives and have a positive, goal oriented and problem solving attitude. It is essential to have good organizational and communication skills.
