AstraZeneca in collaboration with the University of Gothenburg has an exciting opening of a Ph.D. position in the Discovery Sciences department, a global organisation supporting all innovative Medicines Units (iMeds) within AstraZeneca. The project Structural, dynamical and inhibitor studies of membrane proteins is funded by the Marie Curie Innovative Training Networks (X-probe).
Research and graduate education at the Department of Chemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Gothenburg, covers a broad scientific field ranging from the atomic and molecular levels all the way through cells to intact organisms. Much of the phenomena studied here impact on our natural environment and living systems. We participate in undergraduate programs in chemistry, molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, biology, marine sciences, and pharmacy. The Ph.D studies comprise four years at the post graduate level.
