At Sigma Connectivity we develop connected devices within fast growing technical areas together with some of the world's most renowned tech companies. At our headquarters in Lund, you will find Europe's most advanced design, test and verification labs, where we create and deliver innovative, smart, connected products to the market.
We are now looking to strengthen the team with two colleagues experienced in eCAD to develop new and exciting products for our customers.
Main tasks
In this role, you're a part of a diverse engineering team with a strong passion for electronics hardware design, based in our HQ in Lund. Your responsibility is to deliver the PCB and FPC layouts in the projects, as well as work with schematics tools and component libraries.
Your team takes on product development projects for our customers. You'll also cooperate with our design engineers, that can act as a sounding board as well as support you with design input.
The products we develop spans over a wide array of different devices, used in many different industries, targeting different markets. This means that you will take on a rich variety of projects, in a role where you constantly learn and develop.
Key Qualifications
To take on this role, we believe you have a university degree in electronic engineering or similar, together with work experience as an eCAD engineer. This entails
Experience of planning and making PCB/FPC layouts.
Experience of creating and maintaining components in ECAD library.
Experience of using professional eCAD software
As a person, you are not afraid to take initiative, or to take proactive decisions when you see fit. You are a good communicator, able to convey your ideas in both verbal and written English. You are a creative person that value and enjoy teamwork, with the ability to work independently when needed.
Finally, you have a practical mindset and a genuine interest in electronics.
