hela Sverige Do you want to work in the IP field and learn more about international intellectual property? Tobii is looking for a patent engineer to assist in implementing Tobii?s intellectual property strategy.
As a patent engineer you will work closely with inventors and attorneys to write and file high quality patent applications. You will be working in our Stockholm office as part of our Legal/IP team, reporting directly to the Chief IP Officer.
The role and responsibilities
In this role, you will assist in the development and implementation of Tobii?s IP strategy.
Your days will be filled with
• Encourage and promote awareness of intellectual property within the Tobii group
• Work with inventors to write invention disclosures
• Hold innovation harvesting sessions to find and define new innovations
• Work with attorneys to file high quality patent applications
• Manage prosecution of patent applications
• Draft patent applications
• Provide input on commercial agreements

We are looking for someone who has
• An academic degree in engineering, computer science or similar
• The ability to work independently
• A desire to work in the IP field and learn more about international intellectual property
Experience in intellectual property will be highly regarded.
To be successful in this role and at Tobii you need to be able to work under tight deadlines, in a fast paced environment. You should also be open minded and innovative.
