Publiceringsdatum2009-10-29Dina arbetsuppgifterAs a patent attorney your key responsibilities will include:
• the identification and protection of patentable inventions
• ensuring that research and development as well as other departments are fully aware of the significance of patent matters in their own areas of responsibility
• providing opinions and advice on patent policies to other members of the company
• providing sub-portfolio management of a particular technology or product
• looking at all opportunities to license Ericsson intellectual property rights
• evaluating third-party patents and portfolio strength.
You will also have specific responsibility for:
• the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications
• the nature and extent of the patent protection to be obtained
• reviewing Ericsson products, technologies and services under all intellectual property aspects
• giving advice on both Ericsson and third-party patents
• assessing the impact of new developments in the field of intellectual property rights on Ericsson's business and advising clients accordingly.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have a Master Degree or doctorate level in information technology, electrical, electronics engineering, industrial engineering, or a related discipline pertinent to the telecommunications sector. A good working understanding of various patent laws and procedures will be an advantage.
We would like to see that you have:
• good analytical and communication skills
• good experience in drafting and prosecuting applications, preferably
• good knowledge of Swedish, European and international patent law and practice
• very good written and spoken skills in English and Swedish
• strong organizational skills
• a strong drive to accomplish tasks and projects
• the ability to work in a team environment.
