One of our paralegals will be on parental leave as from May 2023 - September 2024, and we are now looking for a temporary colleague to join our team at the Volvo Group headquarters.
Who we are
Group Legal is the legal department of the Volvo Group headquarters. We are a team of 15 legal professionals, including lawyers, paralegals and other functions. Group Legal supports the Volvo Group General Counsel with management of matters of significant legal risks, corporate administration, coordination of the global legal function, and more.
What you will do
As a paralegal at Group Legal, you will contribute in many of our recurrent tasks and processes; such as:
Handle company administration matters, such as power of attorneys, etc
Edit the monthly Legal Newsletter (sent to everyone within Legal & Compliance with news and highlights)
Provide support in annual processes, such as legal spend process, and review of preferred law firms
Administer and plan seminars and trainings for Legal & Compliance
Administer the knowledge sharing hub Volvo Legal SharePoint
Administer the legal archive
Administer our internal company register
Who you are
You have a paralegal degree, or similar work life experience, with solid competence and interest in digital tools, in particular Office 365.
To be successful in this role, you are a true team player, with great networking skills. You possess the perfect mix of a service-oriented mindset, passion for people and speed and quality in your responses. You are eager to always find improved ways of working and have a "can-do" attitude.
You are professional in English, both written and spoken.
Practical information
The position is located in Gothenburg, at our nice offices at the Volvo Group Headquarter in Lundby. The position reports to the Head of Legal Operations.
