hela Sverige Adecco IT & Engineering is seeking for a OTT/Head-end engineer to Ericsson Broadcast & Media Services at Gärdet/Stockholm. Ericsson Broadcast & Media Services in Sweden is responsible for operations and handling of 40 TV channels, 100 live streaming channels, 6 TV-studios, Content and Asset Management for Sweden 's largest commercial TV channels.
Your Role
• Together with operations team set-up systems and services
• Together with PM lead and drive project forward and assist in technical questions and decisions
• Discuss and plan sub-assignments with third party vendors
Skills needed:
• Communication skills
• Analytical skills (understanding various architectures, understand how to
best connect them)
• Understanding video and audio (compression) technologies (MPEG, AAC)
• Understanding packaging technologies (HLS, DASH, Smooth Streaming,
progressive download)
• Technical knowledge and understanding of products and platforms from vendors like Ericsson, Envivio, Elemental technologies
• It skills like network, servers and virtual technologies for set-up and deployments of systems in these environments.
• Understanding DRM applications & limitations (PlayReady, Fairplay,
Widevine, EricssonDRM)
• Understanding system integration (e.g JSON, XML, HTTP, FTP, RESTfull
webservices)
• Understanding CMS systems & subscriber management systems (e.g
Evergent)
• Understanding of company processes (assist in handover to operations)
• Understanding aspects like security, performance, scalability, availability
and resilience
• Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
