Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.
Scania has ambitious growth targets the years ahead. To reach those targets we do not only need an excellent product and services portfolio, we also need to work efficient and professionally in bringing the vehicles and services to the final customers. Sales Support and Development main tasks are to improve Scania's global sales and order to delivery process of vehicles and services.
As Development Manager at Order to Delivery Development, you will have a unique insight into, and an opportunity to further develop how order to delivery is managed at Scania from corporate level all the way out to the global retail network. We have by close co-operation with our business units and their best practice, started the journey to develop global guidelines for order to delivery and this job will now be implemented and rolled out in our business unit and retail network. We offer an exciting opportunity to work with development and implementation in a global environment in a consultant like role. The improvement work is focused on the order intake, planning, monitoring and vehicle handover methods. The work is based on Scania's flow oriented leadership and Scania's Way of Working.
To succeed in this role you are a well-structured, ambitious and creative person who is able to interact and cooperate with our business units around the world, as well as other functions in Södertälje. The role includes travels. You are a team player who works well together with others but also able to work independently. If you have previous experience of order to delivery or commercial or international experience it is a merit. You write and speak English fluently.
