We currently have the following job opening;
Order Office Manager
This role is within the Business Area Powertrain Engineering and more specifically within the Operational Management unit.
Powertrain Engineering is developing Powertrain technology for the brands within Geely Group. The Operational Management unit is responsible for managing the Powertrain Engineering Project Portfolio and budget. We also cover Product Maintenance, Operational Development including processes & tools, Project Management, Releases etc.
In this role you will work with the Project Portfolio with the responsibility to manage the order process when it comes to new project requests. As this is a newly established role you will have the opportunity to form and contribute to the content. You will report to the Vice President, Operational Management.
Responsibilities and task
- Analyze new project requests.
- L and perform budget and resource estimations for new projects.
- Lead the new Project Request through the formal project start process.
- Be a Powertrain Engineering Interface with Product Planning.
- Secure alignment between Powertrain Engineering Project Portfolio and the Product Plans.
- Manage and balance project portfolio vs budget and resource capacity.
Profile and Background
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience of making budget estimations
- Project Management experience within engineering.
- Experience from working in a multi-cultural environment.
- Team player but with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to structure, summarize and present cases.
The role does not include direct report responsibility but leadership capabilities is a prerequisite in order to manage the Project Portfolio.
