hela Sverige We are now looking for a senior Operations Manager, to join our team at DC Borås.

As a senior Operations Manager, you lead efficient operations performance, ensure service levels and compliance. You will also work strategically and drive continuous improvements in line with set targets for service, efficiency, and cost. You lead within operations to ensure logistic capacity and needs, in alignment with DC Manager.
Your main responsibilities
Lead the change towards innovative technical solutions, always with our customer in mind.
Lead DC departments Managers and team leaders to maximize operational excellence, quality, and efficiency.
Manage and ensure logistic capacity needs in collaboration with DC Manager.
Maximize overall profitability based on cost effectiveness through planning, budget and cost follow up.
Recruit, develop and retain workforce according to capability needs and forecasted capacity requirement.
Support all Departments to resolve issues and ensure close alignment with Controlling and HR together with all other functions at the DC.
The senior Operations Manager is part of the management team and is involved in strategical decisions connected to the logistics site and its development.
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have the following qualities/competencies:
Solid leadership experience, a firm "customer first" mindset and strong strategic abilities.
Strong in communicating and adapting method based on circumstances.
Understanding and experience of end-to-end logistics processes.
Knowledge in operational logistics or production standards.
Experience in automated industry processes and daily work with LEAN management.
Strong project execution, project management and planning skills.
Good knowledge and experience in HSE area.
Data processing, knowledge of SAP and MS Office is an advantage.
Holistic view to look at the bigger perspective with a visionary approach.
Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation, and people development by empowering others.
Agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and meaningful growth.
Inclusive & empathetic towards others whilst encouraging diversity.
Self-awareness, understanding your impact on others and contribution to the whole group.
You are fluent in English and Swedish with strong communication and presentation skills.
We think you have at least 5 years' experience of leading operational departments.
Additional information
This is a full-time position starting with a probationary period of 6 months. Collective agreement with the Union. The location is based in Borås and part of the Logistic Region Europe. As Operations Manager you are a part of the management team of the DC and you will report directly to the DC Manager. Start date by agreement.
