This person is responsible for managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring that all technology systems and services are functioning efficiently and effectively, and monitoring the quality of technology-based products and services. The responsibilities of an offshore operational manager includes the following:
Managing the budget for IT operations, and ensuring that resources are used effectively and efficiently
Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Managing budgets and resources, including personnel and equipment for offshore operations
Maintaining good relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
Collaborating with other departments to meet company goals and objectives
Responding to operational issues and implementing corrective measures
Monitoring and evaluating the performance of employees and teams at offshore facilities
Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and increase efficiency
We require a strong background in business and operations, as well as experience in the relevant industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are also important for success in this role. The ability to manage operations in offshore environments is also essential, as is a good understanding of the unique challenges and risks associated with each type of facility.
