Volvo Group Operations Graduate Program
If you are up for the challenge of developing the next generation of production plants and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!
During 15 intense and exciting months, the program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group's global truck manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end to end supply chain, aftermarket parts, and our remanufacturing operations.
In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several "on-the-job" rotations and have the opportunity to work on real project assignments. In addition, you will join a number of learning modules where you get together with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.

Our organization:
Tuve plant is a complete assembly plant for heavy-duty Volvo trucks with a total of 2000 employees producing around 100 trucks per day. Tuve plant has in recent years undergone a transformation to become a more modernized plant where new technologies and innovations have been the primary focus. With customers' success as our drive we continuously improve our production and logistic setup in order to be the most successful truck manufacturer and to deliver a premium quality truck.

This is us, your new team:
The logistics engineering department at the Tuve factory designs and setup internal logistic flows to deliver all the parts needed to build a truck. We are responsible to support and develop all internal logistic processes from goods receiving to point of use. Together with productions engineers, logistic and line operators and production managers we work to continuously improve our internal logistic processes.
Today we are about 20 colleagues, with different backgrounds, ages and genders. Some have long experience from the shop floor and others come directly from the university. We continuously focus on building a strong team with a great team spirit.

Main activities and responsibilities:
We are looking for a committed future production logistics engineer to help us make Tuve a world class factory in Trucks manufacturing. Main work will be to apply lean thinking and improve our internal materials flows. You will work with incoming goods, warehousing, internal deliveries, kitting activities and part presentation. Supporting logistics and assembly processes in problem solving is one of our most important activities.

Who are you?
To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Master of Science or Business Administration (civil engineering, industrial engineering, business engineering)
• Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation.
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Excellent spoken and written Swedish or willing to learn rapidly
• A communicative team player with the ambition to develop both yourself and the business that you are working in.
• Process oriented and analytical with a hands-on mentality
• Holistic view and good lean knowledge
• Also valued are good knowledge in Excel

Volvo Group Trucks Operations encompasses all production of the Group's engines and transmissions, as well as all production of Volvo, Renault and Mack trucks. The organization is responsible for spare parts supplies to the Group 's customers as well as for designing, operating and optimizing logistics and supply chain for all brands, production facilities and distribution centers where the Volvo Group operates.
