This is a consulting assignment with good opportunities for recruitment. Tasks and responsibilities:
As a Purchaser at Polarium you will play an important role and act as a link between the Project Buyers, turning sample purchasing into volume deliveries, and the Volume Purchaser. Together with your team you will organize, plan, and manage purchasing and delivery materials from Polariums vendors and between their sites.
The main purpose of the role is aligning project purchases and transfer it to volume purchasing, order placement and delivery monitoring. This means you will be responsible for planning and creating purchase orders for purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery target. You will ensure continuous supply and communicate any problems which may cause a risk of impact on the business operations. You will issue pre-alerts on incoming goods and follow-up on goods receipts. Secure that vendor and item master data is in place and accurate. Be part of the continuous development of purchasing and reduce cost where possible.

Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
• Minimum of 2+ years of working experience within purchasing
• Experience in working with global suppliers
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Advanced MS Office skills
Merit:
• Relevant academic education within business, engineering or similar
• Working experience in the manufacturing industry
