The Arena:
Precision Medicine and Genomics PMG - brings diagnostic products to patients in collaboration with external partners to align with AstraZeneca drug development programs.
PMG is a global function with teams in Sweden, UK and USA.
Tasks and responsibilities/The role:
You will be working closely with an AZ PMG Project Manager to deliver detailed Operations management such as:
• Tracking - activities, costs, FTEs
• Creating plans
• Change monitoring for projects
• Managing team meetings
• Writing minutes
• Creating action and decision logs
• Working with partner organization to progress activities
• Managing project documentation
• Communicating information across the team
Working with Project Management office:
• To design and implement new processes
• To clean up project information held in systems
• To produce project reports
Minimum requirements:
• Prior experience of operations management or logistics
• English in any communication, written or verbal
Preferred experience and key factors:
• Ideally degree level
• Ideally scientific background
• High IT competency - databases, MS project, Excel, Planisware
• Experience of managing teams
• Attention to detail
• Previous experience of AstraZeneca
• Knowledge of the drug development process
About the employment:
The position as Operational Project Manager at AztraZeneca is as a consultant with start immediately. As a consultant, you are employed in Adecco Sweden. The assignment will start in February 2018 and is expected to last until the last of July.
