We at Akkodis are looking for an Operational Planner to add to our team of consultants! Are you ready to take the next step in your career?
About the role
The Operational Planner is responsible for the replenishment of Distribution Centers across the globe. The role includes managing spare parts availability, inventory management, and rush transport analysis. You will be expected to understand and visualize the performance and take corrective actions if targets are not being met. In addition, you will be a speaking partner to your colleagues in the Distribution Centers and Business Areas, taking a lead role in proactively finding solutions to existing and future challenges.
Continuous improvement is a key area, and you will play a vital role in meeting upcoming challenges. The position is highly versatile, and you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience into many different areas of the supply chain. There is currently a transformation journey ongoing and utilizing the possibilities of big data and advanced analytics will be central to this effort.
About you
If you are a passionate team player with a drive to deliver great results, you will fit perfectly as a consultant.
The ideal candidate for this position will have degree in a relevant area such as Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Logistics. Experience within logistics and inventory management is highly meriting, either from studying or work.
You should have a strong interest in the technical aspects of our work, including
* Python
* Java
* SQL programming in the cloud
* Azure
* DevOps
* Agile working methods
* AI, and/or machine learning.
We put a strong emphasis on your personal qualities and we believe that you have a curious and analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility and should be comfortable working with large data-sets.
