hela Sverige Volvo Cars Engine (VCE), a unit within Volvo Cars Manufacturing, manufactures propulsion system and components for VCC.
The development of the production strategies and systems are managed by VCE Manufacturing Engineering (VCE ME).
The mission of VCE ME is to develop highly efficient production systems and processes for machining, assembly, and testing for all propulsion plants within VCC.
To make sure that our manufacturing systems that build our propulsion systems are developed to meet the future demands and secure our customer's expectations, we are searching for Senior Managers to maintain and be a part of our global VCE ME management team.
To fulfill and succeed with our journey we want to recruit a Senior Manager with responsibility for Operational Development.
As a Senior Manager within ME you will have responsibility for Organizational Development, Secure VCE ME Procedures, Processes and Support systems.
You will also coordinate and secure VCE ME Policy deployment.
Main Responsibilities
* Coordinate and secure Strategic Competence.
* Manage organization and resources to meet defined targets on all locations.
* Competence planning, recruitment, development of the organization, working methods and employees to fulfil current and future needs.
* Manage and allocate the assigned work effectively to ensure that each employee is able and motivated to contribute to their maximum potential.
Professional qualifications
* Master of Science degree or equivalent experience
* Minimum of 7 years work experience in relevant areas
* Experience in leading project teams and/or line management, with proven track record in leadership, coaching and communication skills.
* Long and broad experience of industrial systems, procedures and organizations.
* Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

* Adaptable and flexible, specifically regarding business culture
* Steady and self-driven
* Team oriented
* High integrity
* Adherence to aspired culture / aspired lean leadership
