Infotainment & Connectivity team is now looking for an Operational Buyer for Displays. You will be part of a team with 9 buyers. Infotainment and Connectivity is a part of Electrical purchasing with responsibility for Audio, Displays, Telematics and Connectivity. Your responsibilities will include secure running projects and day to day business for components such as touch displays, head up displays and Instrument clusters.
For this position you preferably have a solid background from the buyer role within VCC or likewise position in another company. It is also an advantage if you have experience of the infotainment industry of hardware and software, at VCC or elsewhere.
Main responsibilities
- Negotiate existing business agreements to secure the annual result
- Secure development and production launch
- Negotiate change management. VPC and SREA/SRICA and ensure best commercial outcome
- Support the Category Buyer in the Infotainment team
- Negotiate capacity management, constraint issues and CIR
- Negotiate Supplier issues such as claims and agreement updates
- Responsible for Quality issues, regress/warranty issues
- Responsible for ordering process on display commodities
- Travelling to a certain extent is part of the job
*In order to perform the work there may be need for business travels
Qualifications
- Economical alt. Technical education at University or likewise
- Experience of working as product buyer or likewise at VCC/other company is meritorious
- Experience in project lead oriented issues
- Able to plan and drive your own work and deliver result in time
- Good skills in communication, both English and Swedish
Personal qualities
- Motivated by identifying/enabling/creating new solutions and new business opportunities in this area
- Good skills in negotiation and really enjoy to negotiate
- Good skills in team cooperation
- Confidence in an international environment
