Organization
Sourcing at Husqvarna Division is organized in several categories which all are responsible for securing quality, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of supply within the category. The Sourcing Handheld Category is responsible for procuring all direct material used in Husqvarna's Petrol Handheld products with a global set up of both plants and suppliers. Our task is to ensure that the greatest value is provided to the organization 's internal customers and thereby positively affecting the overall business result. A key enabling role for achieving this is the Operational Buyer.


Your future challenge
As Operational Buyer Handheld Category you are part of a highly motivated team of Commodity Managers and Operational Buyers and you report to the Sourcing Director Commodities. Your primary responsibilities are to secure sourcing results in the flow of product improvement activities and to support Commodity Managers in different ways to improve commercial results.


Your responsibilities

• Responsible for sourcing part of product maintenance and running changes
• Responsible for approve invoices maintain and update pricelists
• Take over after New Product Development closure (End-gate)
• Product maintenance interface between sourcing, R&D and factories
• Support Commodity Managers in strategy implementations, benchmarks, business transfers and other projects
• Build and maintain relationships with internal customers and other functions to ensure continuous improvement and that service level commitments are met


Your qualifications
You are a self-motivated team player with good communication and interpersonal skills who likes to work with both internal and external stakeholders. You have the ability to independently manage the product maintenance flow to ensure optimal sourcing results. You are a true problem solver who enjoys reducing ambiguity and always providing the best service to our internal customers.
To be a suitable candidate for the role, we believe you have the following.


Education
Batchelor Degree in engineering or supply chain management together with recognized qualification in sourcing or other relevant academic background.


Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience of working with external suppliers. Technical experience of mechanic or mechatronic components. Extensive experience of working with and coordinating factory, R&D and sourcing activities. Experience of working in an international environment is a merit.


Personal skills
Strong planning-, organizational-, analytical- and problem solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of basic software such as Microsoft Office and database handling.

Languages
Fluency in English is required. Swedish and other such as German, Chinese and Japanese is a merit.
