Every day our 700 employees produce board for millions of packages at our Gävle mill; packages which reach people all over the world. Now BillerudKorsnäs Gävle is looking for an operational availability manager to our pulp mill.
We have high goals and continually work to every day be a little bit better than the previous day. Our maintenance focus is on preventive maintenance with financial balance and we use modern systems and methods. Our development of operational availability takes place mainly in our specialist maintenance pillar which is part of our improvement work the aim of which is to qualify for TPM Award.
About the position
The position is placed in the pulp mill and you report directly to departmental managers and will be part of the department's management group. Your areas of responsibility comprise among other things:
• To lead and delegate work in the group with 2 engineers and 2 technicians
• Operational availability
• Maintenance budget and follow up
• Investment plans and plans for smaller modifications
• 5-year plans for preventive maintenance
• Cost control and preventive maintenance
• Analysis of break downs
• Contribute in specialist maintenance pillar
Qualifications
• Knowledge of process industry, preferably from the pulp and paper industry
• Technical university education or alternatively similar competence
• Documented experience of management of maintenance work in a similar business
• Certified maintenance management according to EFNMS or similar (merit)
• Experience of development and continual improvement of maintenance systems
• Documented leadership/ management training
• Good skills in English or Swedish both spoken and written
