On behalf of the public health care we recruit European specialist doctors, nurses and dentists, we organize their language course and we give assistance in all practical issues related with the relocation to the new country. Since the beginning of our activity in 2003 we have selected and trained in the Swedish language more than 400 European specialist doctors, dentists and nurses. In Sweden, 15 county councils have contracted our company's services, and all regions in Denmark and Norway. We began by recruiting Spanish specialist doctors, especially primary care physicians and established a course centre outside Barcelona in 2003. We now also hold courses in Budapest and in other locations when necessary. Following the European Union enlargement we began to recruit in the new member states: Hungary, Poland, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Portugal, Croatia, Slovenia and the Netherlands. We are ISO certified and are a test center for Swedex. We are 30 employees working in our company.
MediCarrera collaborates with the public health care in Västra Götaland and now there are vacancies, permanent and full time employment, for nurses in many different specializations.
The nurses working in Sweden have a high professional status; they represent an autonomous sector, with its own organisation. They can perform independently complex medical tasks and they receive constant education and training. The nurses are organised in Nursing Colleges, which contribute to the development of nursing science and its professional management. In Sweden it is common that experienced nurses are head of departments and participate at the management of the hospital.

Essential requirements:
Title as BSc. nurse recognised in the EU.
Good English level.
Availability to participate to the Swedish language course.
The offer:
• Permanent contract after C1 level in the Swedish language.
• Training courses within working hours.
• Help to find: apartment, school and kindergarten.
• Study tour to Sweden, after a first interview, to learn more about the region and the work environment.
• Assistance with removal and relocation costs.
• Intensive Swedish course, also for the partner.
• Remuneration during the language course, free apartment and travel costs for the family.
The costs for the interview will be supported by employer.
There will be assistance with relocation costs.
Accommodation during the intensive language course is assured. In Sweden we assist with finding apartment but we don't pay for the rent.
