Tetra Pak Nordics is one out of nine market companies within Cluster Europe & Central Asia. The countries covered by Tetra Pak Nordics are Baltics, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway & Sweden. The position is part of the Services organization and reports to the Technical Key Account Director in Tetra Pak Nordics.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Nordic market company to ensure compliance to the group OHS policy and associated procedures and to drive continuous improvement towards the Tetra Pak goal of zero accidents and work related ill health. Your task will be to ensure delivery of the Corporate OHS strategy on different sites. You will also be responsible to ensure compliance of the group security policy in the Nordic market company.
You will have a broad network internally as well as externally, being a member of the corporate OHS team, acting as local process driver and coordinating external consultants.
The position is based in Lund, but will require some travelling, mainly in the Nordic countries.
Main responsibilities
• Champion occupational health, safety and wellbeing within Tetra Pak Nordics
• Be an OHS expert for all employees in the market company
• Establish and maintain systems to support the site conformance with the Group OHS procedures and local legislation
• Drive continuous improvement in OHS and work with others to identify and eliminate risks to OHS
• Encourage a positive OHS culture on the Nordics sites and at customer sites
• Maintain a record of accidents and incidents and monitor completion of follow up actions and ensure that adequate investigation and analysis is completed
• Ensure legal compliance of OHS
• Ensure that an OHS training program is in place to cover the significant risks on the site
• Operational implementation of OHS in Tetra Pak Nordics
• Monitor and ensure compliance of the group security policy
Qualifications
We are looking for a proactive passionate OHS professional, motivated to actively collaborate across borders internally as well as externally. You are a natural informal leader, a strong communicator and have the ability to build trust. You are also able to drive, embrace and implement change.
You possess an Environmental, Health and Safety technical degree/diploma and approx. 4 years' experience from OHS work, providing support to multiple sites. Having experience from different kind of sites, specifically an industrial environment is an advantage.
Your skills in Swedish and English are excellent, written as well as spoken.
