Job description

Do you want to work as an Office Assistant in a global company located in the city? Are you a person who want to be involved in creating a new role as an Office Assistant? Interested of working in a growing global insurance company? Do you have experience from finance or insurance? Have you previously worked as an Office Assistant? Then you might be the person we are looking for!

XL Catlin Northern Europe provides insurance solutions to Nordic based corporate clients across several insurance products. They are now looking for a dedicated person to support their team at the Stockholm office. Your responsibilities will include:
• Front desk tasks managing the reception area, visitors, mail and incoming enquiries
• Be the local contact person for, and manage, local finance and supplier relations
• Managing bills and payments (accounts payable)
• Support central HR function with administrative tasks
• Coordinate local IT and communications platform
• Maintain office filing and storage systems
• Update and maintain client databases
• Assist with marketing, presentation material, event planning and implementation
• Monitor and maintain office and kitchen supplies (limited)

Qualifications

As the role is very diverse and consist of many administrative tasks in several fields, the company is looking for someone who is able to manage many tasks and duties. To manage this role you have a degree in business, finance or administration. University degree is not mandatory. You have at least 3 years' experience from business administration. Insurance or bank/ finance knowledge is an advantage. Swedish and English language skills are essential (both in writing and oral), any additional fluency in Nordic languages would be a distinct advantage. You are experienced and work regularly in Excel and Power Point. To handle this role you should have teamwork skills, be communicative, flexible, structured and service-oriented towards external and internal parties. If the descriptions fit you, apply now!
