We are looking for an office assistant for a small and friendly office in Göteborg, starting January 1st 2009.
We have sold a wide range of items on several web shops since 2001 in several countries (mainly England). In the office we will be a total of five people, you included. Before you apply for the job you should have a look at our websites because they will be used daily. You can access them all from our main website below.

Our main business is selling pashminas and cashmere knitwear through our Mypashmina websites. Second is hammocks at HammockHeaven, MyHammock and Hamaca. We also sell rugs at TheRealRugCompany.
YOUR MAIN TASKS
• Customer service by telephone (Skype) and email, and sometimes even a visit. Customers will mainly contact us to ask about the products before they buy them.
• Packing and sending some of the items sold. Our main warehouse is in England, so for our Swedish customers we offer a small range of items for express delivery which we keep in our office. Your job will be to pack these items when they sell, create address labels using PacSoft and book for Posten to pick up the packages (or go to the post office yourself to drop off REK).
• Dealing with the incoming orders. As they will be in Swedish you need to translate them to English and pass them on to the warehouse to have the correct items sent out.
NECESSARY SKILLS
• You speak both Swedish and English fluently. Even more languages would be great as we plan to expand our web shops further.
• You can handle a computer properly. Most of your time will be spent in front of one, so it is important you know how to use it.
• You are confident speaking on the telephone and you have a good telephone manner.
EXTRA MERITS (OPTIONAL SKILLS)
• Experience from a previous customer service position.
• Driver’s license.
• Selling skills. Although your main job is to provide customer service, it would be useful if you could turn a hesitating customer into a shopping customer.
• Web programming. We use Dreamweaver for our web shops (HTML, CSS and Javascript). If you know how to use it you could be our web admin for some of the websites.
• Photography. We have our very own clothing brand, Mypashmina, and from time to time we need to take photos of new products.
• Experience with PacSoft, Postens web service for printing address labels.
• A mind for clothes and fashion. You could get promoted to wholesale manager for our Mypashmina brand.
MORE INFORMATION
As already mentioned, there will be five people in the office, which makes for a very friendly atmosphere. We are looking for someone young at heart with a desire to grow with the company. You will be given free hands to do things your own way as long as they get done, and any new ideas are always welcome. Although you will start as an office assistant, you will eventually be given more responsibilities depending on your skills and preferences.
We sell different items depending on the season – during summer the hammocks are very popular while the pashminas are perfect for Christmas – so your job will be varied and there is always something new to do. Because of the luxury items we sell, most of our customers are happy and friendly.
