You will act as the Manager for our Ocean Customer Service team and report directly to the CSO Manager.

Your main responsibilities will among others be to:
• Lead and Manage the Customer Service team in the daily work (10 local employees).
• Ensure proper implementation of new clients or projects.
• Planning and coordination of the daily workload.
• Ensure a lean business approach and work actively with implemented lean tools.
• Ensure timely service delivery and follow up on KPI's and set targets.
• Monitor, record and report the performance of the Customer Service team.
• Work with the Commercial team to establish and strengthen customer relationships.
• Ensure a seamless customer experience by stake holding management and working closely with other Damco offices overseas.

As a part of the Manager responsibility you will also monitor objectives for your team members. You will also be responsible to train and develop your team and setting a mindset of always having the customer and constant improvement in focus.

We believe you have 3-5 years' experience from a similar position or solid experience from the freight forwarding position and feel that you are ready to take on a new challenging opportunity.

To cover for a parental leave we are looking for an interim manager to our Ocean Customer Service team where you will be responsible for leading the Client facing team that act as the single point of contact for the customers whose buying is focused around our Ocean import and export offerings.
