You will be part of Power Transformers in Ludvika. We manufacture power transformers and reactors up to the highest occurring powers and voltages. The unit also offers diagnostics, oil reclaiming, service and spare parts to customers around the world. The Transformer unit in Ludvika has the core competence within the ultra-high voltage levels that are required to transfer a large amount of energy over long distances. Most of the new technology for power transformers is developed here in Ludvika.

Seize the opportunity to take on an expert role within ABB Power Transformers as Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, a key position in an organization that puts safety first. This job offers great opportunities to influence both your daily work and our entire organization. As Health and Safety Specialist, you will be part of our Health, Safety and Environment department. Your main mission will be to develop and ensure a safe work environment at ABB Power Transformers in Ludvika. Moreover, you will secure continuous improvements within the health and safety field and cooperate with managers, ABB networks and authorities.

• As Health and Safety specialist you will be working in various environments and with many stakeholders. The HSE team at ABB Power Transformers support our organization (office, production, test room and site), but we also interact with external stakeholders such as customers, authorities, ABB globally.
• The role includes training, coaching and supporting of the organization in Health and Safety related matters.
• You will develop and manage the Health and Safety processes within our organization and secure that we comply with laws, instructions and the new occupational health and safety management system ISO 45001 (OHSAS 18001). You will also implement and follow-up Health and Safety-related plans and initiatives within ABB.
• Proactive work, such as analyzing and communicating lessons learned in the field of Health and Safety is also an important part of the job.
• You will be part of our Health, Safety and Environment team and of internal ABB Health and Safety networks.

• We are looking for a team player to support the organization in Health and Safety related issues
• You have in-depth knowledge and understanding of legislation in respect of Health and Safety and of the management system OHSAS 18001
• We are ideally looking for in-depth knowledge of identifying OHS risks and relevant actions for mitigation in an industrial production environment.
• You have experience from similar roles, preferably within the industry
• You have strong communication skills in both Swedish and English and know how to engage people.
• You have in-depth knowledge in identifying OHS risks and relevant actions for mitigation in an industrial production working environment.
• Considering the number of stakeholders, you should enjoy working with people
