As a Nordic Safety Specialist you are responsible for the Nordic safety work with regard to both implementation, following up and reporting. The position relates to a temporary post with the possibility of a permanent appointment.
The daily following up of the safety work is, however, carried out by the safety representatives in the respective region and country. You will report to the Sustainability manager at the Nordic level and thus be part of the Nordic activity. As a Nordic Safety Specialist your work will largely consist of implementing and developing a joint safety structure for the entire Nordic Region. Producing common tools, routines and guidelines is included in your work remit.
You are a support for the rest of the business with regard to work safety-related matters and legislative matters and will also carry out internal audits at both the Nordic and regional level.
You are someone who is driven, accurate and target-focused and passionate about safety matters. You must be communicative and instructive as you will come to initiate, plan and conduct work safety training for other personnel.
Since the position is new, you have considerable opportunity to influence its contents. You will be able to develop your own projects that you will conduct yourself or together with others. The work also involves considerable development possibilities for you within the Nordic Region.
You possess relevant university education. It is an advantage if you are already employed by Skanska. The position will involves some travel but your work location can be in any of the Nordic countries.
