Nordea is currently under a major transformation journey to meet future needs and expectations of our customers.
Group Taxes is the function that manages the tax costs and risks in Nordea group, issuing tax policies and instructions and supporting various internal stakeholders in their decision making.
In this work we need a CIT team leader for the Nordic CIT team.
Your role:
As Nordic CIT Team leader, you will be responsible for coordinating corporate tax issues within the Nordea Group. The team is responsible for managing tax costs and risks, supporting business areas, internal projects and processes in relation to corporate income tax. You will be involved in coordinating Nordea 's contacts and communication regarding tax issues towards both internal stakeholders and tax authorities. You will also monitor the tax regulatory development within corporate income tax and inform and assure that new legislation is implemented and enforced within Nordea. As team leader, you will be responsible for a Nordic team of corporate tax specialists that are placed in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Oslo and support them in their daily work and professional development.
You will also continuously develop the teams work process and see that routines are improved both in quality and uniformity. At Nordea, the team leader holds a key position, the CIT leader reports to the Head of Group Taxes.
Your profile:
To successfully take on this position, you need:
• a solid understanding of corporate income tax with 10-15 years of work experience from similar position in other companies
• a strong interest to create good relationships
• to appreciate working within a team and you are interested in other people 's perspective
• a genuine interest of Nordea 's business
• strong communication and presentation skills
• leader skills
• fluent in English
