As a Nike Pacer you are the face of Nike Running to our retailers and consumers. You are a product expert driven to share your knowledge and inspire other runners. You are a true Nike Running brand ambassador with a sharp eye on whats happening in the world of Running.
As a Pacer you will:
• Build and maintain relationships with our RSG (Running Specialty Group) partners
• Connect with local running communities and create excitement for the Nike Running brand
• Lead and organize product trainings, trials and a seeding program
• Be out in the field 80% of your time visiting RSGs, track clubs, consumer events etc.
• Identify the most influential partners and runners and make them your fellow Nike Running brand ambassadors
• Think of new ways to educate and inspire retailers and consumers
• Provide Nike European and Global Headquarters with valid, thorough and fact-based feedback on our products and services
• Know the Running market inside out; insights, trends, competitor information and product feedback
• Be a spider in the web of the Nike Running team and work together with the Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Retail team
You will lead the conversation between the Nike Running Brand and runners; provide them with the knowledge to make the right product choices. You will build trust and relationships in the running community.
Requirements for the position include:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
• 3 years' experience in consumer or retail marketing, specifically focused on the Running consumer
• Must have a personal running background and a strong passion for the sport of running
• Must have a strong knowledge of the running industry and trends in the marketplace where the position is based
• Must have strong Nike and competitor product knowledge
• Must have an understanding of the running retail market, running customers and retail trends
• Ability to quickly establish trust and build relationships
• Ability to network and utilize internal and external resources
• Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Passion for creating and driving new ideas
• Must have the ability to consistently work varied business hours and weekends
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must be fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
Primary location: Field based
Salary: Fixed salary, as agreed
Hours: Full time, 100%
Travel: Up to 75% of the time, in the Nordic countries.
