Our customer is developing state of the art software used by thousands of well-known companies and public organizations to enforce their internal and external network security.
We are now looking for driven individuals that will join their vulnerability research team. In this role, you will research methods that cyber criminals are using to compromise networks. Your responsibility is to develop scripts that automate the detection of these vulnerabilities. The scripts can be targeting either web interfaces or network infrastructures and are written in a scripting language.
There can also be possibilities to work in more traditional penetration testing projects. In either way, you will be working closely together with the development team and other IT security experts to ensure the delivery of a superior service. You have a true interest in IT security, development and networking. As a person you are analytic and thorough.
We believe that you have the following qualifications:
• Relevant working experience in development, networking or IT security
• Good knowledge of scripting in Python, BASH or other scripting languages
• Good knowledge of networking protocols such as SSH, HTTP, etc
• Previous experience as penetration tester is an advantage
• University level studies in computer science or similar
• Good English skills verbally and in writing
