About the position
We are currently looking for a Network Security Expert with focus on Radio Access Network (RAN) Systems to our Wireless Networks Systems design team in Sweden. The
team is responsible for Network and RAN level system design solutions and
architectures, providing input to the product development projects.
The candidate will work with specification of Security Solutions and Architectures for Next Generation Wireless Networks, supporting the future network service's needs, the demand for deployment flexibility and management, and the migration from today's network and SW architecture.
Qualifications and experience
The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience from R&D of Network and/or RAN level system design as well as working with wireless operators. General Radio
Network system management/design competence is required (functionality,
systemization, ways-of-working/methodology, etc.). Specialist level competence in the following areas is meriting:
End-to-End Network Security Solutions and Architectures adapted to business processes, risks and in next generation wireless systems (incl. e.g. Clouds, NFV, SDN, etc.)
Threat models, risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, security processes and management systems
Network and Node Security requirements and enabling technologies
Systemization and Design of Network logical and functional arch's for Wireless accesses A Master degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent background is required.
Skills requirements
The candidate must be innovative and productive, with a high focus on delivering high quality work on short timescales within an intensive & dynamic working environment.
The candidate must be able to work independently and unsupported when required, but also be a team member. The candidate should be able to argue as needed, both to promote / defend what they see as the best solution but also to be open for suggestions from others.
We expect the candidate to be capable of actively driving the company internal as well as external forums in agreed strategic directions.
Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. The candidate
must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Good communication, documentation and presentation skills.
