About Product and Development at Tradera
The customer is always in the forefront of their minds when they embark on new endeavors at Tradera. Traderas vision is to be the best marketplace for unique items and bargains. They are continuously developing their product and the technical platform is the enabler for this. As an organisation they have an ethos to challenge all aspects of the product lifecycle, progressively learning from hypothesis and data driven development.
It is a core responsibility of the product development team to ensure Tradera evolves on an everyday basis.
They are a tight team of 15 developers, that work in smaller self organizing teams. Fast iterations and continuous deliveries!
About Tradera and the position
Tradera is one of Sweden's largest ecommerce sites with around 4.5 million weekly visits and in peak traffic over 100 bids per seconds, this puts high but rewarding demands on you as an engineer. You are not afraid of challenging existing conventions or working practice, utilizing experience and technical prowess to think outside the box. We are looking for someone with a curious mind - interested in testing their technical and problem solving promise.
You will be working in a .NET environment in Traderas buyer focused web team, where customer first is a grounding principle - the team has a large proportion of responsibility for their Elasticsearch cluster. Ideally you'll be used to running your code in production so wanting to work closely with our operations department is a big bonus.
The right person will have lots of positive energy and be passionate about software engineering as a whole and wants to continue growing in all areas, their team has a proven background in nurturing personal development and technical progression.

Desired skills and experience
You have a relevant educational background (or proven experience) and several years involvement working in complex technical environments. Agile methodology is part of their daily flow and you're happy to continue this. It is a bonus if you have knowledge of ecommerce or related industry but not a must.
You have a thirst for technology and love stay up to speed, experimenting and growing is part of your normal work.
It is important that you are good at communicating both towards other developers as well as towards UX/design and Product Owners
