At the fall we will start year 7-8 which means we need to expand our workforce and therefore we are looking for a teacher whose mother tongue is in Arabic. We are looking for someone who has a college degree in teaching Arabic. You will be responsible for planning, implementation of teaching, educational activities and participating in school development. At Kundskapsljuset, we work a lot in half classes with different subjects and groups based on the students skills; this provides a good quality of teaching where the children are given opportunities to develop their abilities. Our school emphasises great demand on the commitment from staff, pupils and parents.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Have higher education as teacher from Azhar University.
• Experience in similar work would be an asset.
• We emphasis greatly on personal suitability.
As a person you should see development as a positive, and want to be involved in developing Kunskapsljuset and yourself. You are patient and can create a safe environment for our students. That you have well-developed communication and teaching skills. Since most of our students are Arabic native speakers, they need extra support in this area which attaches great importance to you as a person. You must see cooperation with the home as very important and as a prerequisite for a good business.
The position is on a temporarily basis 100% during the academic year 2012/2013, with great chances for permanent employment for the right person.
