We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking person as an English language tutor/childcare worker who will provide a proven record of developing and encouraging children in our preschool to learn English.
Requirements:
ONLY Native English-speaking candidates ( English as a first language).
ONLY candidates holding a valid Swedish work permit.
At least one year of experience caring for children and language teaching ranging in age from 1 to 5 years in a mixed-age childcare/preschool setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting/articulating information and data.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work.
Ability to work independently, without supervision and in a team environment.
Good time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching English using lesson plans based on the Swedish preschool curriculum.
Working with all everyday situations such as meals, children's daily hygiene/diaper change, material care, cleaning, laundry, etc.
Participating in all preschool activities.
Promote children's social skills, language, mathematical thinking, and environmental awareness, stimulated and strengthened in daily activities.
Document children's development and learning.
Contributing to the content of the team meetings, reflection times, etc.
Following the preschool's curriculum and other local plans.
Having daily professional contact with the children's parents.
Other tasks than those mentioned above may occur depending on the needs and development of the preschool activity.

Work test
To assess if the candidate's profile corresponds to our current requirement profile, we offer our candidates an opportunity to accomplish a work test. The parts of the work test are the parts of the day-to-day work at the preschool and a way to test how the candidate would be able to handle his/her tasks and responsibilities.
