CPO (Chief Purchasing Officer) / Supply Chain Manager
Job Description:
NA-KD, a global online fashion company and one of the top 20 fastest growing companies in Europe, is currently looking for an innovative and executive CPO (Chief Purchasing Officer) to lead the development of the company's international production and supply chain. NA-KD has an annual revenue run rate of over $70 million, with millions of page views everyday and shipping to over 130 countries per month.
The CPO will lead our production, purchasing, and design teams in the quest for a more agile supply chain. This includes designing and implementing processes both internally as well as with selected suppliers. The role also includes building up the company's CSR funcion. If you have a background in production and have the skills necessary to fulfill the obligations of a C-level position, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Drive a process-oriented and data driven workflow within the production, purchasing and design departments.
Set and achieve strategic goals to lead NA-KD to a more agile global production.
Work with CSR initiatives to ensure ethical and strategic sourcing for production of the NA-KD brand.
Find, develop, and assure great relationships with suppliers worldwide.
Coordinate the purchasing department and assure that we are working effective and structured toward short lead times.
Build upon and develop our stellar team of designers, purchasers and textile technicians. Lead and motivate the department.
Responsible for the purchase budget and for creating and implementing competitive procurement strategies.
Financial reporting - responsible for the purchase budget, manage and evaluate sales as well as monitor relevant KPIs.
Responsible for conducting relevant risk/reward assessments and analysis.
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical Skills:
7+ years experience in production and/or purchasing management, demonstrating a career of advancing roles with increasing responsibility, visibility, and complexity.
3+ years experience leading a world class agile production team.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or business administration.
Solid experience of all elements within purchasing and production processes.
Experience from international purchasing and production.
Good technical understanding of the e-commerce environment.
Previous leadership experience.
Previous work experience from the fashion industry is a plus.
Personal Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Analytical and good sense for business and numbers. Process-oriented and data-driven.
Acts pragmatic, respect deadlines and understand that no one else does the job for you.
